When we first approached Mike about wanting to buy a new home Mike first talked to us on what we were planning with our current house sell vs rent. Once we decided that we were going to sell Mike immediately had a staging consultant come into our home. That was one of the best things that we could have done it gave us lots of time to work on making the appropriate changes. Mike gave an honest opinion on the properties we were looking at and we felt zero pressure. It took us a couple of months until we found something that we were happy with on the market. All through that time Mike kept an open line of communication with us, again we never felt pressured. Once we found the house we wanted negotiations went very smooth. When it came time to sell the effort we put in with the staging really put our house apart from the others on the market. We were listed for only 20 days before we sold! We used Mike’s contacts for Staging, Painting & Cleaning and we were very happy with everything. The Stager, Christine Gaudet was very professional, she gave us a plan to work towards.The painter, Brian Osborne – was very efficient. He had a crew of 4 guys paint our whole house in 2 days!!!! For the same cost that it would have taken one person 2 weeks.The cleaners made our house spotless before photos, and gave us a good base to maintain during showings. When we were losing steam in getting the place ready Mike was there to give us a push to keep things on track. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Mike when selling our home, and when purchasing our new home. We were incredibly picky when it came to finding our dream home. We can’t imagine how frustrating this must have been for Mike, but he never let it show for a second! A few times we toured homes that met all of our criteria, but just didn’t feel right. Mike never put any pressure on us; he would tell us repeatedly that this is the most important purchase of our lives and we need to be sure it feels right. He always responded promptly, was flexible, did his best to accommodate our schedules, and was lovely enough to offer us rides to and from showings. We probably shouldn’t say this, but it felt like he could be reached at absolutely any time! When we did find our dream home (in the middle of the holiday season), he patiently went through all of the paperwork with us, while working quickly to make sure it became our home for the best possible price! When selling our current home, we were quite amazed that Mike provided us with the services of a stager; we didn’t think that was included in the fees of most realtors. We know that this service made a huge difference in how quickly our home sold. When our first offer came in, it was very clear that Mike was doing everything he could to make sure that any deal done was in our best interest. We’re sure that we would not have received our asking price after 2 days on the market were it not for his expertise. Any issues that arose (through home inspections), Mike worked around the clock talking to contractors and other agents, in order to resolve things as quickly and as stress-free as he could for us, while making sure that things worked out in our best possible interest. It can feel like there are more downs than ups when selling and purchasing homes. We always felt better knowing that Mike would take care of any issues that came up.
